YOUR PROJECT AND YOUR LEARNING

Build it.
Learn to judge it.

Find out whether a revision is better

Illustrative example · You bring your own task.

  1. 01 / YOUR TASK

An existing reporting skill guesses owners when notes are incomplete.

  2. 02 / EXAMPLE RESULT

A comparison of no skill, the original skill and the revised skill on the same cases.

  3. 03 / YOUR CHECK

Check missing-owner cases and ordinary cases. Record regressions and cases where the revision did not help.

What you’ll learn to do

Compare skill versions fairly, detect regressions, and decide whether an improvement is supported by evidence.

How you’ll check your learning

Compare the same cases without a skill, with the original, and with the revised version; test a new case before your release decision.

THE COURSE PROGRAM

9 practical stages.
One useful project.

On-demand references, cooperating skills, deterministic checks, regression cases, untrusted input and recovery. Improvements and token savings are tested, not promised.

Check what you need ↓
  1. Your skill and a fair starting point

    What you’ll do
Bring a skill and define the cases and checks for comparing versions.
    What you’ll have
A starting version and a consistent evaluation plan.
  2. Make the activation boundary visible

    What you’ll do
Try matching and unrelated requests; inspect whether the skill runs.
    What you’ll have
Evidence of where the skill activates and where it does not.
  3. Load supporting material when it is needed

    What you’ll do
Move a detailed rule into a supporting guide and test when it is read.
    What you’ll have
A smaller main instruction with a checked reference workflow.
  4. Make two skills work together

    What you’ll do
Give a second skill a specific review job and inspect the handoff.
    What you’ll have
A tested draft-and-review workflow, with its limits recorded.
  5. Separate exact checks from judgment

    What you’ll do
Use exact checks for format, then review the facts yourself.
    What you’ll have
A clear distinction between a format pass and a correct answer.
  6. Improve one case without breaking another

    What you’ll do
Improve a difficult case, then rerun cases that worked before.
    What you’ll have
A comparison showing improvements and any new failures.
  7. Keep source text from rewriting the task

    What you’ll do
Add source text that tries to redirect the task and inspect the response.
    What you’ll have
A tested boundary between source material and instructions.
  8. Resume from a checkpoint you can verify

    What you’ll do
Write a checkpoint from observed results and try continuing from it.
    What you’ll have
A recovery note whose completed work can be verified.
  9. Release your skill with evidence

    What you’ll do
Compare versions on the same cases, test a fresh case and inspect the export.
    What you’ll have
A skill package and an evidence-based decision about using it.
